Selkirk Amateur Operatic Society Presents

Calamity Jane

Selkirk Amateur Operatic Society’s production for 2010 is Calamity Jane. This vibrant humorous show is a great favourite with audiences and members of the company alike.

As in all good musicals this show involves mistaken identity, unrequited love, betrayal, jealousy, cross-dressing and a healthy dose of humour. And two (or will it be three?) weddings. There are some great and memorable songs including; Deadwood Stage, The Black Hills of Dakota, Secret Love and A Woman’s Touch.

The shows are in the Victoria Halls from 23rd to 27th February with a matinee show on the 27th. Tickets are on sale from the Scott’s Selkirk shop in Selkirk High Street at £9/£7 and £10 on Saturday.
